ARTIST'S BIO
Vetch is a quirky, progressive pop band that derives its musical pleasure from such diverse areas as New Orleans jazz, underground 80s art punk, contemporary feminist folk rock, and Canadian progressive pop. Vetch began as a solo act for songwriter Kora Woolsey, and has since grown into a collaborative explosion (you should see the live act) that nevertheless retains strong ties to the seeds from which it grew. Based in Fredericton, the band plans to release a rock-oriented CD in the fall of 2007, soon to be followed by a jazz-inspired recording.
