Toronto based Reggae/Dub/Soul band Bedouin Soundclash are on their USA / UK / Canada tour and will be visiting the Maritimes! This JUNO Award-winning group Bedouin Soundclash will perform in Moncton, Saint John and Halifax in support of their latest release Street Gospels during Nov. 20-22. Show details:

Nov. 20 Moncton, Oxygen Nightclub
Nov. 21 Saint John, Club Monte Carlo
Nov. 22 Halifax, The Marquee

With their sophomore album Sounding A Mosaic, Bedouin Soundclash exploded onto commercial radio and video stations across Canada with the hit single “When The Night Feels My Song”. The song shot to #1 on MuchMusic, became the #2 most played track on Canadian radio and garnered the band the 2006 Canadian Radio Music Award for Best New Group or Solo Artist (CHR). Topping off an already exceptional year, Bedouin Soundclash performed on the nationally televised 2006 JUNO Awards alongside Coldplay and Black Eyed Peas and took home the 2006 JUNO Award for New Group of The Year.

Now, Bedouin Soundclash returns with their highly anticipated third album Street Gospels which features the singles “Walls Fall Down” and “1259 Lullaby”. Recorded in Toronto and New York with Darryl Jenifer’s talents again at the production helm, the album features Money Mark (The Beastie Boys) on keys and Wade MacNeil (Alexisonfire, Black Lungs).

Formed in 2001, Bedouin Soundclash combines the soulful wail and hypnotic rhythmic guitar grooves of lead singer Jay Malinowski, Eon Sinclair’s deep dubbing bass and Pat Pengelly’s driving rhythms. Together the power trio creates its own innovative fusion of reggae, rock, punk and soul.
